Javahersaz family has been involved and specialised in the jewellery trade in Tabriz and Tehran since 1892. Haj Abolghasem Javahersaz has been one of the most prominent jewelers in Tabriz Bazaar, and most of his children and grandchildren are active in this field. Reza Javahersaz, known as Boyok (1944-2007), one of Abolghasem's sons, had a profession in Persian, European and Oriental antiques. Hamid Javahersaz, son of Boyok, has been professionally active in trading antiques since 1989, along with his father.
Today, Boyok Antique has a long history of collecting and presenting antiques from a range of periods, styles and geographical origins;
18th to 20th centuries, especially French antiques and works by famous artists and antique artisans.
